Deputy Chief of Staff, For Personnel (DCSPER)
MISSION: Process all personnel transactions for all Enlisted Soldiers accurately and in a timely manner.
OVERVIEW: To ensure the enlisted community of the Virgin Island National Guard is informed of the Enlisted Promotion System board point system, and provide guidance to update Official Military Personnel File in preparation for the board process, complete all enlisted request for fills, manage TRANSPROC, process all Active Guard Reserve (AGR) orders, publish AFCOS orders on a day to basis; review and track awards, NCOERs, manual orders, personnel action requests (PAR), etc., prepare guidance and enforce regulatory requirements.
MISSION: To ensure all personnel who require a security clearance are identified and application processed in a timely manner. This includes Civilians, Federal Technicians, Contractors and Military personnel.
Scheduled Board dates:
- Qualitative Retention Board (QRB) is scheduled for March 2016
- Enlisted Promotion System (EPS) boards are schedule as follows:
a. Junior EPS Board: 19-22 April 2016
b. Senior EPS Board: 24-27 May 2016
